Dylan & Jenny’s Dutton Cove Project

In 2022, Dylan and Jenny captured Australia’s attention on The Block, and since then their passion for design has only grown stronger. Their latest project, Dutton Cove, showcases just how far they’ve come—a home that balances grandeur with effortless coastal charm. Partnering with Stone Ambassador, the couple set out to bring their dream of a Mediterranean sanctuary by the sea to life.

“Our vision for Dutton Cove was to create a home that feels luxurious yet inviting—a sanctuary by the sea where every detail celebrates coastal Mediterranean living. We wanted a space that feels light, fresh, and timeless,” Dylan and Jenny explain. For them, this was the perfect opportunity to bring to life a theme they had long admired. “We’ve always wanted to do a Mediterranean styled renovation and we saw this project as the perfect opportunity.”

From the beginning, stone was central to their vision. “We’ve always admired Stone Ambassador for their exceptional quality and ability to capture the beauty of natural stone in such a refined way. Their surfaces not only elevate the look of a space but also provide the durability we need for everyday living.” When it came time to choose, one surface stood out immediately. “We were instantly drawn to the Taj Mahal porcelain. Its subtle veining and soft champagne tones perfectly tied in with our vision.”

That choice proved transformative. “The moment the stone was installed in the kitchen, the whole space transformed. Suddenly, everything came together so perfectly. It became the true hero of the design.” For Dylan and Jenny, stone is more than just a finish—it defines the very character of a home. “Stone has a presence that few materials can match. It brings both weight and elegance, grounding a space while also elevating it. For us, stone is a way to introduce permanence and timelessness—something that will never go out of style.”

Balancing practicality with aesthetics was also a key part of their process. “We always start by considering how a space will be used day-to-day. From there, we choose finishes that not only look beautiful but also stand up to real life. That’s why surfaces like those from Stone Ambassador are ideal—they deliver both practicality and luxury.”

The result is a project that feels deeply personal. “With our Dutton Cove project you can see how much love we’ve put into it. It’s a whole new style for us—we’ve never done a Mediterranean design before, but we absolutely love it and will definitely do it again.” Ultimately, their greatest hope is that the home speaks to everyone who walks through the door. “We hope they feel instantly at ease. Our goal was to create a space that feels calm, light-filled, and inspiring—a place where luxury and comfort coexist seamlessly.”
