When Paradox Coffee Roasters set out to create their flagship venue, the brief was clear: a space that felt premium and memorable for customers, while performing flawlessly through the demands of a busy commercial kitchen.
The result speaks for itself.
Specified throughout the fit-out, Zenith Surfaces Naica was chosen not just for its aesthetic, but for what it could withstand. In a hospitality environment, every surface is put to the test from the moment the doors open. Constant cleaning, food preparation, customer traffic, and the kind of daily wear that would compromise lesser materials.
Before installation, the client took a sample of Naica home to test it against coffee bean staining, one of the most demanding tests for a café environment. It performed exceptionally well, giving the entire project team the confidence to proceed.
The project builder noted that the original specification called for large format 6mm porcelain tiles, but Zenith’s 20mm stone was recommended as a superior long-term solution. In a working hospitality venue, equipment layouts evolve. Stone offers the flexibility to accommodate future modifications far more easily — a practical consideration that pays dividends years down the track.
“We always encourage clients to look beyond the initial aesthetic and consider how materials will perform five or ten years down the track.”
Since opening, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Paradox has become a destination in its own right, a venue that not only looks beautiful, but continues to perform for the business day after day.
That’s the standard we hold ourselves to at Stone Ambassador. Surfaces that don’t just make a great first impression, they earn their place over time.
